Yeah, I met some people at the artists' alley at the convention I went to...

And this was their character from one of their comics. I suddenly felt like drawing him, since it was the first comic of theirs I actually decided to read... And then I realized they actually had a contest.

Anyways. Yeah... He's from their Crossbones series.

He was actually really fun to draw... I thought the hair would be a royal pain, but it wasn't. The coloring was. Apparently I have no colored pencils even close to the color of his pants or shirt, so I used... 6 colors for the shirt and 7 for the pants, I beleive... Thus, the inaccurate colors and obvious scribble lines. XD
I also seem to have an inability to keep an entire character on the paper... I cut off his toes and the end of his scarf. -_-
And proportions are off... but I'll quit pointing out mistakes and shut up now. ^^;

I kind of wanted him looking like he was daydreaming, but I can't get the blank stare right. XD Okay. Now I'm shutting up.

Color: 1 1/2 hours...

EDIT: I made it a bigger resolution for =static2007 for the comic book...

Ha dag nammit, I wish I'd got mine half as accurate as yours XP By looking at yours I see I've gotten most of the costume wrong XO (I had to guess, my internet wasn't working well at the time) and I like how you did the scarf all wiffly ;P

XD Thanks! I actually know I'm missing some of the pockets and things, but I was using pictures off of my phone... thus... one inch pictures. -shot-

Lol, my internet was acting up so I couldn't get into Static's gallery, all I could use for a ref was their latest page update, which had lovely pictures!

Hahaha. XD Yeah. My old phone only loaded about half of each picture, so I had to find one that had a full body picture in the top half of the strip. XD That was terrible. Apparently, Troy's a lot harder to draw that one would think, huh? lol
